Summer is a great time for relaxation, a change of pace, and rejuvenating. As a musician, summer is also a great time for growth.
Summer is never as relaxed as any of us imagine it will be -- all that open time has a way of filling up quickly. But even with travel, jobs, camps, and other summertime activities, there is an opportunity to spend a bit more time with the horn.
Even if there's not more time, perhaps you can use the time differently. Focusing on basics, strengthening foundational skills, exploring new repertoire -- change it up for summer!
